Ross Frame becomes a real Champagne CharlieRoss Frame, Restaurant Manager St Monans, came top of his class in his recent Wine & Spirits Education Trust Exams. Ross scored a 92/100, earning a Distinction in Level 2. These courses, both Level 2 and Level 3, are provided by Inverarity Vaults, UK Restaurant Wine Supplier of the Year, to help us train our staff in drinks service. Congratulations to Ross, and hope you enjoy the Krug!

St Andrews wins CIS Culinary Excellence Restaurant of the Year 2007
Craig Millar was presented with the award for Restaurant of the Year 2007 for The Seafood Restaurant, St Andrews, at the Catering in Scotland Awards ceremony held in Glasgow on Thursday 10th May. We are all delighted with this outstanding achievement and to win such a prestigeous award against stiff competition is due to hard work and the efforts of the whole team.
AA WINE LIST OF THE YEAR FOR SCOTLAND 2006-07
We are delighted to have been awarded the AA Wine Award 2006-07 for our St Andrews restaurant. Directors Tim Butler and Craig Millar were presented the award at the annual dinner at the Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh on Thursday 5th October. This accolade adds to a list of awards the St Andrews restaurant has gained since we opened in 2003; AA Restaurant of the Year 2005-06 for Scotland; Hardens Top 5 Restaurants in UK outside London; The Good Food Guide Newcomer of the Year.

Winter hours: Open Wednesday to Sunday, lunches from 12 noon to 2.30 pm [Sundays from 12.30 to 3 pm] and dinners from 6 pm till 9.30 pm. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays until 1st April 2008.
Winter Set Lunch Menu - Wednesday to Friday £14.95 for 3 courses
With the cold weather drawing in, why not come and sit in our cosy lounge bar by the fire and sample a warming chowder or a Islay malt whisky. What better way to wait for the storm to pass than to watch the waves crashing on the harbour walls from within our friendly establishment.
